The SpotterRF Radars Transmit less than 0.5 W @ 10.25Ghz spread over a 40-50 MHz bandwidth. In Comparison a Cell phone transmits 1 W @ 1.5GHz to 2.2GHz. Since the Radar is transmitting at about 50% of a cell phones transmit power it is safer than a cell phone and does not pose a problem to be around
